This Privacy Policy applies to the Habitat Budget app ("the App") for iOS, created by the Developer. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
Habitat Budget is a fully offline, local-first budgeting app. Your data never leaves your device. The Developer does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
The App collects no personal information whatsoever. All data you enter — including budgets, spending transactions, and streak progress — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). This data is never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
The App contains no analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, crash reporting services, or any other third-party libraries. No information is shared with, sold to, or accessible by anyone other than you.
The App uses Apple's local notification system to deliver optional spending reminders and streak alerts. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device. No notification content or delivery data is accessible by the Developer.
The App requires no internet connection and makes no network requests. It functions entirely offline at all times.
The App does not collect information from any user, including children under the age of 13. Parents and guardians can allow children to use the App with confidence that no personal data is gathered.
All app data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the App. No data is retained by the Developer because none is ever received.
Because all data remains on your device, it is protected by your device's built-in security features, including passcode and biometric authentication if enabled.
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
